Спільний телеміст: важливе документальне кіно для дітей та молоді | Joint Telebridge: Important Documentary Cinema for Children and Youth

Завдячуючи мережі кіноклубів документального кіно DOCU/CLUB в Україні ми знайшли нових друзів з БФ Карітас Кам'янське, що на Дніпропетровщині. Дуже тішимося з того, що і там, у дитячому просторі також показують та обговорюють важливе документальне кіно з дітьми та молоддю, адже на базі БФ «Карітас Кам’янське» працює кіноклуб з прав людини Кіноклуби Docudays UA.Результатом нашої співпраці став спільний телеміст, під час якого підлітки познайомилися, переглянули та обговорили фільм «Джованні та балет на воді». Герой стрічки дуже хотів займатися балетом на воді, але всі з нього сміялися, бо це не чоловічий різновид спорту. Джовані вперто займався, йшов до своєї мети і виграв важливий конкурс. Ця історія дуже вразила дітей і вони поділилися своїми історіями, зокрема, як дівчатка відвідують заняття з авіамоделювання, з чого однокласники всі дивуються. Або ж, наприклад, дівчинка з Кам’янське поділилася думками, що любить займатися футболом, хоч це також багато хто досі вважає чоловічим видом спорту. За професійної модерації Марія Симкович у співпраці з колегами з міста Кам’янське - Валерією Хаджийською, Світланою Волошин та Оксаною Колотило кожен та кожна мали змогу поділитися власною мрією і кроки до її здійснення. Підсумували захід, що всі ми схожі та водночас різні, але ми маємо право на ці відмінності, і ніхто не може нас примусити бути іншими.

Joint Telebridge: Important Documentary Cinema for Children and Youth

Thanks to the network of documentary film clubs DOCU/CLUB in Ukraine, we have made new friends at the Caritas Foundation in Kamianske, located in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

We are very happy that, there as well, in the children's space, important documentary films are shown and discussed with children and youth. This is because the Caritas Foundation "Caritas Kamianske" hosts a human rights film club, part of the Docudays UA film clubs.

The result of our collaboration was a joint telebridge, during which the teenagers got acquainted, watched, and discussed the film "Giovanni and Water Ballet."

The protagonist of the film wanted desperately to practice water ballet, but everyone laughed at him because it was considered a female sport. Giovanni persistently practiced, worked towards his goal, and eventually won an important competition.

This story had a great impact on the children, and they shared their own experiences, such as how girls attend aviation modeling classes, which surprises their classmates. Another example was a girl from Kamianske who shared her thoughts about loving to play football, even though many still consider it a male sport.

Under the professional moderation of Maria Symkovych, and in collaboration with colleagues from Kamianske—Valeriya Khadzhiytska, Svitlana Voloshyn, and Oksana Kolotylo—everyone had the opportunity to share their own dreams and the steps they are taking to achieve them. The event concluded with the idea that we are all similar yet different, but we have the right to those differences, and no one can force us to be anything other than who we are.
