Разом з гостями Ужгорода, волонтерами Рух підтримки закарпатських військових-Ужгород та досвідченими кондитерами сьогодні у Caritas HUB випікали медові пряники!- Таке товариство тепле й домашнє для нас жінок дуже важливе. І аромати, руками щось зробити, а особливо тісто - воно ж живе! - ділиться враженнями пані Олена з міста Дніпро. - Тому ми сьогодні робимо пряники, будемо їх розмальовувати і подаруємо їх потребуючим.Майстер-клас із виготовлення різдвяних пряників організували у рамках проєкту "Ділимося хлібом".- У нас є дві мети у цьому проєкті, - розповідає волонтерка Злата Мікрюкова, - перша - інтегрувати внутрішньо переміщених осіб у середовище, друга - зібратися разом та приготувати щось смачненьке. Наші медові пряники ми передамо військовим, які перебувають на лікуванні в місті Ужгород.На базі соціальної пекарні в Caritas HUB такі заходи проводяться не вперше. Раніше тут разом з гостями вже випікали закарпатські кіфлики.- У нас вийшла чудова арттерапія, адже тісто позитивно впливає, особливо на літніх людей. Вони могли насолодитись процесом та трохи забути про свої негаразди, - каже соціальна працівниця Карітасу Вікторія Горінецька.Всього у заходах проєкту "Ділимось хлібом" взяли участь близько 60 учасників.

Sweet Support: Gingerbread Baking Masterclass at Caritas HUB

Together with guests from Uzhhorod, volunteers from the Support Movement for Transcarpathian Military-Uzhhorod, and experienced bakers, today at Caritas HUB, we baked honey gingerbread!

Such warm and homely company is very important for us women. The aromas, the act of creating something with our hands, and especially the dough – it’s alive! - shares Ms. Olena from Dnipro. - That's why today we are making gingerbread, decorating them, and giving them to those in need.

The gingerbread-making masterclass was organized as part of the "Sharing Bread" project

We have two goals in this project, - says volunteer Zlata Mikryukova, - the first is to integrate internally displaced persons into the community, and the second is to gather together and cook something delicious. We will deliver our honey gingerbread to the military personnel who are receiving treatment in Uzhhorod.

Such events have been held before at Caritas HUB’s social bakery. Earlier, we baked Transcarpathian kifliks with guests.

It turned out to be wonderful art therapy because the dough has a positive effect, especially on older people. They could enjoy the process and briefly forget about their troubles, - says Caritas social worker Viktoria Horinetska.

Around 60 participants took part in the activities of the "Sharing Bread" project.
