Напередодні Різдва Христового у Карітасі пройшли святкові реколекції для працівників та волонтерів - духовна віднова через розмови, навчання, молитву та сповідь.Такі заходи дозволяють набратись сил тим, хто щодня працює на благо інших. Дає натхнення на кожен новий день служіння потребуючим. Дозволяє очиститись молитвою від буденних турбот і проникнутись жертовністю Христа.Темою однієї з лекцій було Різдво Христове: що є для нас це свято? Чи в центрі блага вість про народження Христа чи наше Я, традиції і можливість святкування. Інша лекція стосувалась таїнства сповіді, яку порівнюють із душем, що дає чистоту нашому тілу та прибиранням оселі, аби зберегти її в порядку та охайності.

On the eve of Christmas, Caritas hosted festive retreats for staff and volunteers—a time for spiritual renewal through conversations, teachings, prayer, and confession.

Such events offer strength to those who work daily for the benefit of others. They inspire each new day of service to those in need, cleanse the mind through prayer, and allow participants to embrace the sacrificial spirit of Christ.

One of the lectures focused on the meaning of Christmas: What does this holiday truly mean to us? Is it centered on the good news of Christ’s birth, or is it overshadowed by our own desires, traditions, and the celebrations themselves? Another lecture explored the sacrament of confession, likening it to a cleansing shower for the soul and the tidying of a home to keep it clean and in order.
