Цього тижня ми згадуємо день, коли три роки тому кожен з нас прокинувся зі словами: «Почалась війна». Це був момент, який розділив життя на «до» і «після», змінивши долі мільйонів людей.

Згадуючи цю дату, хочемо подякувати всім, хто не залишився осторонь, хто підтримував нас і допомагав, щоб ми могли надавати допомогу внутрішньо переміщеним особам, переселенцям, людям, які втратили свої домівки, та всім, хто потребував підтримки.

З перших хвилин війни Caritas мобілізувався, щоб бути поруч із тими, хто опинився у найскладніших умовах. Ми приймали, сортували та передавали гуманітарну допомогу, забезпечували тимчасові прихистки, допомагали знайти тепло та надію.Це початок нашої роботи в перші дні війни:

1. Прийом гуманітарної допомоги з-за кордону
2. Розподіл у найбільш вразливі точки країни
3. Видача гуманітарної допомоги (постільна білизна, одяг, продукти харчування, засоби гігієни) в нашому фонді
4. Розвезення гуманітарної допомоги по ужгородських шелтерах
5. Волонтерська підтримка у прикордонних зонах

Ми віримо, що війна закінчиться, що зло не має останнього слова, і що добро завжди переможе. Разом – ми сильні!

3RD ANNIVERSARY OF THE WAR'S BEGINNING

This week, we remember the morning three years ago when we all woke up with the words: “The war has begun.” It was a moment that divided life into "before" and "after," changing the destinies of millions.

As we reflect on this date, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who did not remain indifferent, who supported us, and who helped us provide aid to internally displaced persons, refugees, those who lost their homes, and everyone in need of assistance.

From the very first moments, Caritas mobilized to stand beside those facing unimaginable hardships. We received, sorted, and distributed humanitarian aid, provided temporary shelters, and offered warmth and hope to those who had lost everything.This was the beginning of our work in the early days of the war:

1. Receiving humanitarian aid from abroad
2. Distributing aid to the most vulnerable areas of the country
3. Providing humanitarian assistance (bedding, clothing, food, hygiene products) at our foundation
4. Delivering aid to shelters in Uzhhorod
5. Volunteer support in border areas

We believe that this war will end, that darkness will not have the final word, and that goodness will always prevail. Together, we are strong!
